| Introduction | New York was my playground but I have since moved on to the world at large. After four and a half years of subway hopping and trying to control my irrational anger towards the MTA for late night and weekend service changes, I have uprooted and am now without my own kitchen. Though I have always been obsessed with food and cooked since I was a teenager, I've never really cooked by the book. I own my fair share of cookbooks and refer to recipes often, but rarely do I follow a recipe without throwing in my two cents. Perhaps it's because I am an impulsive food shopper who makes grocery lists that can feed an army but can never remember to bring the list, and so of course I end up buying whatever looks good and never have all the ingredients that a recipe calls for. This blog will be an attempt to chronicle my own cooking and hopefully provide ideas for others. Unless noted otherwise, all the recipes on this site are my own but they are merely ideas and are not meant to be followed strictly. Play around with them and make them your own! |
