InterestsStaying sane and not freaking out about how much work I have to do, reading, listening to music, cooking (I'm pretty domesticated!) and baking (especially my legendary crunchies, cakes and muffins - place your order here), spending time with friends, having fun, blogging, watching movies, smugly observing my ever-growing book collection, painting and sketching, ballet (and any other dancing), acting, yoga and just chilling out... And trying to get people to stop teasing me about me being vegetarian!
Favorite moviesI like movies that mess with my mind, or that just have an interesting style about them - Across the Universe, Little Miss Sunshine, Garden State, Hero, Juno, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events", Thank you for Smoking, Pulp Fiction, Amelie, The Darjeeling Limited, Spirited Away, The Truman Show, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Hours, Singing in the Rain, Chicago, all 3 Matrix movies, City of Angels, A Lot Like Love, High School Musical 1 and 2, Love Actually, and all the Muppet movies! Also, anything by Baz Luhrmann - Moulin Rouge and Romeo + Juliet. And animation - Madagascar, Shrek and Finding Nemo...
Favorite musicQueen, Supertramp, The Beatles, Goo Goo Dolls, Vertical Horizon, James Blunt, Moby, Mika, Bryan Adams, The Eurythmics (and Annie Lennox in general), Muse, David Gray, Collective Soul, Live, The Pixies, Coldplay, The Cranberries, The Black Hotels, Counting Crows, the Dave Matthews Band, The Darkness, Incubus, Faithless, Dashboard Confessional, Matchbox 20, and of course U2 and REM.
Favorite booksKahlil Gibran's The Prophet, Tuesdays with Morrie and The 5 People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen), North and South (Elizabeth Gaskell), Man's Search for Meaning (Viktor Frankel), Mrs Dalloway (Virginia Woolf), The French Lieutenant's Woman (John Fowles), Cry the Beloved Country (Alan Paton), anything by Terry Pratchett, Expecting Adam (Martha Beck), anything by Joanne Harris (the author of "Chocolat") and the Joy Luck Club (Amy Tan). I also enjoy random philosophical musings - especially the ones that don't take themselves too seriously!

You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?

Black stiletto heels - obviously!
