Introduction	I am an actress,model,writer and law graduate; not really that unusual but I am also paraplegic as a result of an accident as a teenager. I first began modelling in 1994 when I won the UK's first ever modelling competition for disabled people. Since then I have worked on many different campaigns and featured in newspapers and magazines all over the world. I have also appeared on numerous television programmes speaking about modelling, acting and the portrayal of disabled people in the media. More recently I have returned to my primary passion, acting and have trained at the Central School of Speech & Drama.
