| Introduction | I am just an East Texas Gal that loves to cook. I am not, nor have I ever claimed to be a chef! I am just a plain old cook. I am married and have four grown children. As you all know, when you have kids you learn to cook real quick! Growing up, my Mama was one of those that only allowed me in the kitchen to either wash dishes or peel potatoes, set the table etc. So, I am self taught. Over the years, I learned to cook by reading a lot of recipes, watching, listening and learning from others. I am a cook by trade as they call it, meaning I cooked for a living most of my adult life. I'm so excited to start this blog and we will learn together! |
