Introduction	I am a retired Special Education Teacher. I ride a bike for fitness and touring adds an element of adventure. I have chosen a recumbent cycle for comfort and efficiency over a double diamond cycle and after 18000km I am happy with my decision. I have invested in the best equipment to ensure comfort and reliability. I love fishing and this year on Thursday Is I have been very successful. I take light tackle and trips on my trips to supplement protein. I have recently bought a kayak from which I troll and baitfish. I am researching pedal kayaks at present. I have been carving timber for 25yrs to decorate my houses and have conducted 21 educational woodwork workshops in rural primary schools in Far North Queensland. My grand children have recently departed Thursday Island with their parents and now live in Brisbane. We moved to T.I two years ago to be near them though our home is in Tully FNQ. We have bought a unit on the Sunshine Coast which will serve us well in our retirement.
