| Introduction | Kathryn Ryan is a Sydney based visual artist who grew up in the Blue Mountains. She is interested in the transformative potential of disused objects and their relationships to poetry, promise and loss, and the natural world. Kathryn's also interested in the fleeting arrangements and processes that occur within the studio and artistic practice, and documents these moments on 'pieces of practice'.
