| Introduction | I grew up out west, mostly Reno, NV on the Hungry Valley Indian Reservation. I am a member of the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah, but am also Pawnee and Comanche. I left the rez when I was 13 to attend St. Paul's School in Concord, NH, and from there went to the University of Virginia, where I graduated in 2005 with a degree in Political and Social Thought. After graduation I worked for an organization now known as the National College Advising Corps, and from there took a position in the admissions office at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. In the summer of 2007, I moved my family up to Hanover to help coordinate Native American recruitment for Dartmouth - though I also do all other things admissions! I'm a politics junkie, I love newspapers, I love football (college [Go Hoos!] and pro) and my reading list consists mostly of books about Indians. I have a wife named Grace and a 3 1/2 year old son named Russell who can often be found chasing a kite, a ball or someone's dog on the green. |
