Introduction	I am married with four beautiful children. Over the past 25 years, I have had paid work both out of the home and in the home. I have recently taken the decision to lead a much simpler life, unpaid of course, but massively satisfying. In taking this huge and risky life choice, I have happened upon true happiness. I'd like to share my experiences with you. I'm not saying this is the only path to happiness, but for me it has been a life enhancing moment. There are six of us in the house, two cats, and two chickens. I cater for a coeliac vegan and a vegetarian alongside meat eaters - a challenge which I'll share with you too. I love being creative and have relished the extra time afforded to me now. I consider myself a very ordinary person. I live in a semi detached house in suburbia. I don't have much - no small holding. However I am working towards feeding my family with home cooked meals, sometimes from home grown ingredients.
