Introduction	In 1998, I wanted to create a network for creative people to access information, benefits and creative spaces. I entered the NESCAFE Big Break and JUST missed out on the funding that would make that dream a reality. I was 18. Some years later, and the internet has opened up a whole new way to realise the dream. This time however, I have the wisdom and experience of working behind me; in customer service as a manager and trainer, an event manager, and now a tutor in business studies and social media marketing. So with a little tweaking to the original plan to make sure it is still relevant, I am pursuing the dream with everything I have. I will always strive to bring you the best of and for Aussie handmade. As a crafter myself, I have been selling under my label Chicken Ink. Creative since September 2009 on madeit.com.au and Facebook. I am a stay at home Mum of 2, run my crafting hobby Chicken Ink. Creative, and the blogs dedicated to the handmade industry Shop Contemporary Handmade and The Contemporary Handmade Alliance.
