Why this blog?: When I arrived in Singapore in 1999 I began writing essays describing my experiences here for the amusement of my friends and relatives who would never conceive of traveling halfway around the world to visit me. These humorous accounts have been collected in a book entitled "Getting Into Singapore: A Guide for Expats and Kaypoh Singaporeans." I will continue to chronicle my adventures here. I sure hope I don't get deported.
