Introduction	Karen Cope received her Bachelor’s in Art from California State University Long Beach and then moved to Florence, Italy to study and master academic classical techniques. She received a three year certificate of completion in Figurative Sculpture and Academic Drawing from The Florence Academy of Art. Inspired by nature, Karen seeks out the nuances of each figure to capture the naturalistic qualities she finds so beautiful. Cope Studios is Karen’s latest endeavor to pass on a naturalistic touch to accuracy and precision in Figurative Sculpture and Academic Drawing. She is passionately giving of her skills and techniques acquired at The Florence Academy of Art and is excited to offer a new way “to see” for those searching to reunite with methods reminiscent of the old masters.
