| Introduction | I'm 15 years old, completely self-trained and taught (sounds like a recipe for disaster, I know). And I'm particularly fascinated by organic chemistry, specifically organic synthesis. Although chemical companies have become more reluctant to sell to the the public because of issues like clandestine drug manufacture, accidents and generally just lower profitability, the world of chemistry is still quite possible to explore extensively at home. Almost all the chemicals I use are either synthesized from, or available as off the counter products. |
