| Introduction | I've always had a love for children! I took my first nanny job when I was 14. I homeschooled that year so I could watch a child whose mom was in jail and whose Aunt needed help...and I did it happily for free because her Aunt was struggling. Over the years I've nannied many other children, worked in daycares, helped out in after school programs, and taught pre-school through 2nd grade. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Commercial Art and a minor in Education. I fell in love with the Montessori method after teaching at a Montessori school for 2 years. After I had my own children, I decided to stay home with them and start up a little Montessori inspired home pre-school. I started "The Learning Tree" about 4 years ago and love it! |
