Location	San u, California
Introduction	Born in South Lake Tahoe, California. My parents worked for or performed with giants including Igor Stravinsky, Billy Eckstine, Glenn Campell, the Gregg Smith Singers, & Buddy Rich. If you don’t know who any of these musicians were, you are in the majority. One great-grandparent was in circus bands & built instruments at the Conn factory in Elkhart, Indiana; another played Oboe in the Czar's army in Ukraine. As a child, my other interests included (predictably) magic. Lived in Davis, CA, Braintree, MA, Vienna, Austria, Paris, a small town in Austria named Mattersburg, then Crockett, Napa, and Petaluma, CA. Moved to San Francisco in 1999 to be an arts education administrator, after teaching music for many years in several Bay Area school districts. Graduated from UC Davis, then borrowed excessive amounts of money to earn a Master’s degree in education while further studying jazz piano at Sonoma State to compliment my English major. For 22 years, living in San Francisco with my carnivorous plants and magic books, and annually reject nominations for ADHD / A.D.D. Poster-Adult-of-the-Year.
