| Introduction | The Girls Advocacy Alliance- GAA is a global initiative of Terre des Hommes, Netherlands and Plan India, It is aimed at contributing towards"Equal rights and opportunities to girls and young women and inclusive economic growth. The programme lays emphasis on the elimination of violence against girls and young women and their economic exclusion as policy priorities. In Andhra Pradesh this initiative is led by Teree des Hommes Netherlands in partnership with HELP. Its main focus in on prevention of child marriages, child trafficking and promotion of Secondary Education among girls and Job oriented Vocational Training among young women. |
