| Introduction | My mother has been a hair and makeup artist for over forty years. She comes from an artistic and cultural family where her father (my grandfather) was a poet, and her aunts and uncles were national cultural dancers and artists in Korea. Growing up, I was always exposed to art and culture. My mother always told me that I had an artistic sense and that I had her artistic hand in hair and makeup. I realized she was right after taking a class in stage makeup during college, where I majored in theatrical acting. So here I am! |
