Favorite moviesAmongst my favs: Ray (love Kerry Washington is gorgeous), Crash, The Big Lebowski (Steve Buscemi and Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore just looks fabulous), Carlito's Way, Goodfellas, Death Becomes Her (so funny), What's Love Got To Do With It (the one and only Angela Bassett), 101 Dalmatians (Glenn Close's astonishingly good English accent), Old Boy (so clever, so dark), Betty Blue (beautifully disturbing), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dangerous Liaisions, Breakfast At Tiffanys (Classic), and Amelie (Tatou-ouou!)
Favorite musicD'Angelo, Jah Cure, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, Queen Ifrica, Pressure. 90's swing and Joe. Musiq and The Roots, Dead Prez and Talib Kweli, especially The Blast. Sizzla, Capleton, Gregory Isaacs. The words on Lauryn Hill's unplugged, of which there are many and some of those lyrics are fabulous... Common, beautiful... Mos-Def, Sylvia Simms, Marlena Shaw, Chaka Khan, Aretha and, of course, Bob Marley... should I go on?
