Introduction	Hi! I'm Melle, a transplanted southerner living in Michigan. I'm a stay at home mom, homeschooling my 7th grade kidlet. He's a ball of energy and keeps me on my toes. I'm married to the Sweetest Man on the Planet and he truly is my soul mate. I love every minute of being his wife. I spend my days teaching algebra and trying to control collateral damage when kidlet bates the dog into chasing the cats. We do a lot of cleaning. A lot of cooking. And a lot of sewing. This blog follows my journey of starting a business creating and selling custom handmade items for the home , clothing and accessories, baby gifts, crocheted items and all kinds of crafty goodness. I'll also be sharing my favorite recipes. If there's a cell deep love in me it's taking care of my friends and family; there is no greater joy than sitting around a table, bellies full, talking and laughing until the wee hours... then going back to the kitchen for one last slice of pie. And because we're new to homeschooling, you'll probably hear a lot about that, too. We're pretty much flying by the seat of my pants here, so bear with me... I am so glad to get to know you, and I just know that we're going to be friends!
