Introduction	Found Fruit began when i first started making home made fruit wine. I had a small plum tree with fruit too small to eat. A friend of mine had made a terrific tasting batch of plum wine so I thought, why not try to make some too? My tree was small and I didn't quite have enough fruit. I also noticed my neighbors weren't using their fruit and were eager for others to take and make use of it. They offered me their fruit and since then I have made wine from "found fruit" including wild and domestic plums, figs, persimmons, elderberries, apricots, blackberries, etc.
