| Introduction | Born in Bogotà in 1975, this young Swiss/Colombian mezzo soprano is an opera singer, establised in London. "When I arrived in London ten years ago to study singing, my new teacher asked me to save my voice and not to speak or sing too much, except during the lessons. It was so difficult not to be able to express myself that I started to paint a lot, using my previous experience in art therapy for children..." Veronica also teaches piano and French and has designed illustrations for children. She is a skilled engraver on glass, crystal, silver and gold too... Her latest passion is serigraphy... Painting and drawing is helping her to find the calm and the peace of mind necessary to work on her voice. Currently, Veronica is working on commissionned painting, prepares a French recital tour in Switzerland... |
