Favorite movies	Calendar Girls, Practical Magic, Four Weddings and a Funeral in spite of Andy McDowell and Hugh Grant, Tootsie, Parenthood, Pirates of the Carribbean 1 & 2(plot? was there a plot?)
Favorite music	Sting (anything), U2 (up to a point), Dave Matthews Band, Loreena McKennitt, Plainsong. (That's not a band.) Lots of Baroque.
Favorite books	Almost anything by Anne Rice, Ursula K. McGuin, Barbara Kingsolver, Amy Tan, Neil Gaiman, Charles deLint. But specifically, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, by Susanna Clarke, knocked me for six, as they say in the Olde Country.
