Introduction I am a cultural producer and researcher based in Cape Town, South Africa. Since 1992 I have worked in the cultural scene in Cape Town - in museums (District Six and Robben Island), a festival (Cape Town Festival), a research organisation (The Isandla Institute). For a number of years I ran my own practise - ONE (the Cultural Production cc.), through which I curated the BLAC project, conferences and talkshops and the exhibition A Place Called Home. I have served on various boards and commitees of cultural organisations and processes locally and nationally. Presently I am on the Magnet Theatre Education Trust board and on a new board aimed at developing the local Carnival. I am currently employed by an urban management and development facilitation organisation, running its new creative industry strategy (Cape Town Partnership). I am interested in social change issues in cities, using culture. My work practise is committed to making Cape Town a more inclusive city, working with other like minded individuals towards thes end.
