| Introduction | Adesuwa Obasuyi is a Social Development Professional specializing in environmental management and sustainable development. She has over six years' combined experience in operations, research and administration in the non-profit, academic & private sector. She is the Executive Director at Sustainable African Cities and Communities Initiative, where she is involved in designing, implementing and evaluating programs centred on creating scalable solutions for the poor and marginalized groups so that they can access basic infrastructure. She is currently working with several organizations to engage all stakeholders to ensure effective data-driven waste management and initiate the process of organizing the informal waste sector in Nigeria. She volunteers with a number of organizations such as Climate & Sustainable Development Network, African Circular Economy Network, Nigerian Youth SDGs Network, and so on, focusing on environmental outreach and monitoring, and creating meaningful institutional change to attain the Sustainable Development Goals. |
