| Introduction | Last July, after nearly a decade in the book publishing industry, I decided to turn in my editor hat for a different one altogether. My new boss (who admittedly only has about one year's worth of experience in this world) is currently teaching me to enjoy the simple things in life, like say, banging cups together and playing peekaboo. I can barely remember life before our little man, Sam, joined us on New Year's Day, 2010. His giggles make my world go 'round. And now we're expecting baby Riser #2 due July 4, 2011! |
