| Introduction | I was born in Salmon, Idaho, a megatropolis of 3,000 people -- in the middle of nowhere. I spent my early years there living near my grandparents, which was very cool because they had a farm. We moved to Alaska when I was in first grade, and I left when I was a junior in high-school -- back to the megatropolis of Salmon. Most my time there, I spent wishing I were somewhere else. Unlike a majority of the graduating class, I attended University and got a degree in Electrical Engineering. I met my wife in college, and we fell madly in love, and despite all the obstacles of trying to put ourselves through school, we got hitched. Best decision ever. We now have six children, and are currently trying (without the aid of fertility drugs, or surgery) to figure out how to go back to five. I work at Seagate Technologies designing SoC ASICs for hard disk drives. If you know what that means, you need to get out more. |
