| Introduction | We are MFA students from Dell'Arte School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake, CA working on a Community Based Arts project with Humboldt State University's health center and with health educator, Mira Freidman. The project will run from February 10th to March 6th and focuses on the topics of sexual health and body image. The culmination of the project will be an original piece of theatre based on the stories, voices, perspectives, ideas and experiences of HSU's student body on the topics of sexual health and body image. Our mission is to provoke people's thoughts about these subject matters. To inspire open dialogue and express the various voices of the student body. To empower the students to take ownership of their bodies and their health. |
