| Favorite music | Rock & Roll, Punk, Country & Western, Blues, Rap, Hip-Hop, R & B, Soul, Jazz (especially New Orleans, LA early Jazz/Dixieland), World Music, Reggae (on a good day anyway), Americana, Roots Rock, Folk, Old-Timey, Bluegrass, Ragtime, Alt-Country/Cow Punk...look I file my rekkids alphabetically, Ray Price's album "Night Life" I consider a classic, indipesible, must-own rekkid. It's filed next to Public Enemy's "Fear of a Black Planet" and it too is a classic, indispensible, must-own rekkid. I have specialty collections of Alt-Country & New Orleans music milieus . I don't pretend to be an expert on anything. However, I do not in anyway shape or form promote 'music snobbery' which alientates people. I've forgotten more about contemporary music than your music snob record store clerk will know about in the next couple of lifetimes. I tell people listen to what you want. If you like it then it's cool. |
