| Introduction | Our association was founded in the 1970's by a group of catholic doctors who felt a desire to meet regularly to share information with one another, to enhance our spirituality, to discuss moral and ethical issues in the field of medicine and how it affects our catholic community in Malaysia. The main objective of our association as outlined in our society's constitution is to promote the spiritual, professional and social welfare of its members and to uphold the priciples of catholic morality. As catholic doctors we feel a need to recognize and promote the dignity of the human person, the love and respect for life, to pursue charitable work and express our love of God and prayer. We are members of the Asian Federation of Catholic Medical Asociation(AFCMA) as well as the International Federation of Catholic Medical Associations (FIAMC).
