Introduction Seán Ó Brógáin lives and works in Donegal, North Western Ireland. Graduating in 2000 with an BA(HONS) Scientific and Natural History illustration. Since then, he has worked for a wide range of clients, inter alia – Manchester University, the Irish Office of Public Works, the National Museum of Ireland, Millmount Museum, Arrowstorm Productions (USA), Cavan County Council, Dungannon & Mid Ulster Council, An Post (designing Irish stamps), Karwansaray Publications and for private individuals, specialising in military subjects. He also works for Osprey Publishing UK, completing 19 title so far, including books of irish interest such as the battle of Ramillies 1706, Dettigen 1743, Fontenoy 1745 & Galloglass 1250-1600.
Interests I have always had a keen interested in History, rambling, music, drawing inspiration from history, bible stories and folklore, for my artwork. More recently Kayaking, volleyball and hill walking have become my new distractions from work. Allowing me to get a new appreciation and perspective on Ireland's wild places and become a happy snapper.
