| Introduction | My joy is teaching English and I have a passion for traveling, which has brought me here to Beijing, China where I am experiencing the most incredible adventure. At 56, I am realizing my lifelong dream of making a difference in the lives of people in a culture different from mine. My husband of 30 years is sharing the joys and trials with me. My 32 year old son is living in Chico, California. Our previous home was in Reno, Nevada, although we both grew up in Detroit, Michigan. This is now our 8th year living and teaching in Beijing,China.
