Introduction I draw cartoons and write. I'm considered good at the former, am accused of being reasonably decent at the latter. I enjoy learning new and peculiar things and have developed a penchant to share this information with total strangers. I've worked in feature, television, commercial animation; illustrated and written books; and draw caricatures for amusement and occasional publication.
Interests Buster Keaton, animation, comedy, Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, cats, Impressionist and Post Impressionist art, caricature, Chuck Jones, books, Douglas Adams, Sherlock Holmes, Mark Twain, classical music, jazz, Queen Elizabeth I, Roycroft, ragtime, chocolate, travel Europe, travel Australia, travel Canada, humor, books, music, hoaxes, elephants, dolphins, dogs, cooking, pop culture, Laurel and Hardy, Monty Python, environment, vegetarianism, veganism, bicycles, local farmers' markets and cooperatives, recycling and conservation, and world peace if that's at all possible.

You're in the grocery store with a broken cart. How will you ever be that hungry?

Um, I use canvas bags and shop at farmers' markets and local cooperatives. And how many grocery stores have only one cart?
