| Introduction | The older I get, the more my experience proves the truth that my life is a vanishing vapor (James 4:14). In my late 20's, it started to dawn on me. Here, in my early 30's, it is becoming all the more relevant and I long for this realization to shape and change me in ways that I haven't yet experienced. This blog is just a catalog of events that unfold in the life of this vapor known as "Megan Z". You will find that I am prone to wander. Prone to wander from God, prone to wander the earth, prone to wander my neighborhood. I am just prone to wander. I am coming out of a season of wandering spiritually. God has been faithful, proving His promises that His word will not return to Him void and that He will finish the good work He has started. All I will say about that season of wandering, for now, is that it has been the catalyst for this renewed focus on just being a vanishing vapor. Here one moment, gone the next. May all our days be spent in light of this truth. May my life be spent in light of it. Enjoy, comment, share. We'll all be gone before you know it. |
