| Introduction | I've lived some now, and have achieved many of my goals. I've survived Vietnam, alcoholism, a bad marriage, and a climbing career for which I really wasn't suited. I am very suited to be a ski patroller, however, and I've proved to be a good one. I worked half my life at a good job in a good place, and I have a wonderful wife and a cherished architect son....and I am to this day a dedicated, committed, and -- one can even say -- an addicted motorcyclist! |
