| Introduction | I am a 30-something stay-at-home-mom to 3 incredible, yet sometimes feral, blessings. My hubby is my rock. Prior to moving to NC, we made 6 moves around the U.S.: WI (the friendliest state), the sticks of NY (yes, the sticks exist in NY), rural GA where armadillos roam, & Pres. Carter preaches, the picturesque Blue Ridge of NC, and a quaint town in SC. I bravely traversed the nonprofit world, & prior to that I bravely taught Communications...at a middle school…need I say more? Currently I am testing the working mom waters part-time as a Volunteer Coordinator. I earned a B.A. in Secondary Education - English from Clemson University, & I bleed orange. I know I have progress to make as I am far from "rosy." I have met many moms that share this perspective. Thus, I hope you, dear reader, sense the irony behind the title of this blog & can relate. My brood surprises & inspires me daily. My eldest son’s innocent, yet insightful commentary amazes me, my daughter’s free spiritedness fills me with pride, & my baby boy’s sweet smiles burst my heart strings. I may not always be rosy, but I am blessed. |
