Introduction	I am a big believer in resilency or I couldn't do what I do. I have a magic wand given to me as a farewell gift from a little boy who told his mother I was the "smartest teacher he ever had". As I was his first teacher the comment may be less valid than it initially seems. He told his mother I could "make magic" which was interesting as I couldn't make him sit down for 5 seconds. Still, I like to think of what I do with kids as "magic". When you help someone find their worth and thus their strength it can seem magical in the face of what some of them have suffered. I have been lucky as well to have people in my own life who worked magic by holding up a different mirror when I needed it. I may test the magic thing a little further. There is a frog with prince potential living by my front door.
