| Introduction | Shannon Barry is an award-winning reporter who has been recognized by the Association of California School Administrators, San Jose City Councilman Kansen Chu, Santa Clara County Supervisor Dave Cortese, non-profit organization Family Giving Tree and Girl Scouts of Northern California's Service Unit 620. She has been a reporter for more than six years with published work in Milpitas Post Newspapers, various Silicon Valley Community Newspapers, Los Altos Town Crier, Palo Alto Daily News, metro.pop magazine and Nha magazine. Barry graduated with a bachelor of science in journalism with a magazine writing emphasis from San Jose State University in December 2006. |
