| Introduction | Of course my name is not Hope. But that's what I have: hope for recovery through 12-step programs for sex addicts. My addiction has not involved anything illegal, but I was in treatment with pedophiles and child pornographers -- who are now my friends. Some now are in jail. But God forgives all, so why should I not follow His lead? My addiction takes the form of this "characteristic" from Sex & Love Addicts Anonymous: "We stay enslaved to emotional dependency, romantic intrigue, or compulsive sexual activities." |
