Introduction	As an economics student, I have great interest in how economic development can have an impact on the Earths natural structure. There are many economic links that can be formed to explain the causes of the changes observed through history. I believe that a third epoch should be added to the Quaternary period: The Anthropocene. There have been significant changes taking place, which can be referred to as a geological phenomenon.
