IntroductionI was born and raised in Noo Yawk but everyone thinks I'm from California. I guess it's like, because of the way that I totally, you know, talk? I grew up on Vincent Price, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and MST3K. I used to worry that I was a sociopath until I had my heart broken for the first time and cried to the point of dehydration. I have a massive girl crush on Barbara Steele. I've got a ton of great bar stories. I think William Castle was a genius. I have an irrational fear of costumed characters. I have a truly awesome orange cat named Grady who spent the first seven months of his life living as a girlcat named "Sadie". He's in cat therapy now. I have both the worst and best taste in movies of anyone you'll ever meet. Oh, and I play the ukulele.
Interestsclassic horror movies, H.P. Lovecraft, milkshakes, Rod Serling, gluten-free foods, my cat, radio theatre, Coney Island
Favorite moviesCat People, Curse Of The Cat People, Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?, The Big Sleep, Strangers On A Train, Bride of Frankenstein, The Apartment, Some Like It Hot, It Happened One Night, Freaks, Black Sunday, Spider Baby, Them! .....and the occasional modern flicks by Lynch, Tarantino, Rodriguez and more.
Favorite musicDresden Dolls, The Magnetic Fields, Ani DiFranco, Bauhaus, Neutral Milk Hotel, Marina & The Diamonds. Oh, and I love me some Taylor Swift and I don't care who knows it! I'm a twentysomething and I have seen her in concert and *may* even have Taylor Swift guitar picks. Tell me anyone who writes catchy pop tunes as consistently as she does and I will call you a liar and give you a swift kick in the cojones.
Favorite booksThe Black Dahlia by James Ellroy, With by Donald Harington, A Widow For One Year by John Irving, the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft, the complete works of Edgar Allen Poe
