IntroductionTinkerbell and I started a blog called New Tinkerbell's Momma Kat for all our animal rescue friends with sad hearts. Our animal rescue stories are to cheer all people struggling in animal rescue, and to let them know their work "does make a difference." I have now changed my blog to My Southern Mint Juleps. In this blog, I will not only encompass my love for God's creatures and rescue, but my family and my Southern heritage as well. I am now on disability and have not walked since my last fall on 22 June 2012. I have dreams where I am running and happy doing my photography once again. I will probably add blogs about my new life as well for others sharing this life. I hope everyone will enjoy our journeys through the South, saving little creatures along the way, and loving my heritage.
InterestsMy love for my Southern heritage, my family, my pets, and all living creatures of God. I also enjoy writing, photography, graphic arts, computers, and web design.

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

It would be made of stone because stone holds up over time to all elements. It would commemorate something we have not yet achieved, but I pray for all the time - no more homelessness and cruelty to children, humans or animals. We should love one another for eternity.
