IntroductionI'm a happily married woman in my early 30's. I have one step-daughter, college age, and one child who was born June 2008. Woohoo!! We have a super-smart Border Collie that loves to herd all the birds in the yard. I'm always ready for a good jog in the park or a ride on the Harley with my husband. I like anything that ignites my child-like sense of wonder. I think this is something no one should grow out of -- it's the magical gift from our Creator that puts meaning in the everyday little things, and we can learn and discover a lot from that. I'm a wanna-be writer, librarian, triathlon athlete, dulcimer-player, artist, philospher, counselor, and hortilculturist LOL!! (I'm 100% sure I'll remain a wanna-be in all these things...my talents are quite limited... but I can still dream!)
InterestsI like running, hiking, reading, motorcycle riding, and piano playing...and once in a while I'll drag out a telescope to view the stars.-- Or try a little beginner photography.
Favorite moviesBraveheart. You Got Mail. Some of my favorite TV shows: Last Comic Standing, Gray's Anatomy (although this show is turning a little blah...everybody has sex with everybody on this show...I mean....uughh.), NCIS, The Unit.
Favorite musicI don't think anyone can beat the voice of Mac Powell of Third Day. I also like the voice of Natalie Merchant -- it's unique. Jars of Clay, Caedmon's Call, Rich Mullins, Michelle Tumes, KT Tunstall, Brandi Carlile, some Plumb, Jem, U2, a little ColdPlay.
Favorite booksBlue Like Jazz by Donald Miller is great for an insightful and fun read! Anything by C.S. Lewis, Peter Kreeft, G.K. Chesterton, Philip Yancey, and fiction novels thrown in for some brain candy to escape with. My to-be-read list is too long to list, but it contains items to have several five-course meals for the brain. Husbands books: Two comedy books..Larry the cable guy and another by Ron White. (He prefers to stick to brain candy. LOL!!).

What did you dream when you ate a spider while sleeping?

How do you ever know exactly when you ate the spider? ...But I have heard everyone does eat a spider while sleeping...hmm. Better that it doesn't wake me from my dream to know it.
