| Introduction | When I designed the Belatert 10B, I was a mere 25 years old and not long out of college. I was eager to sink my teeth into my first real design, having spent my first two years at Beta Products just learning the ropes by being more or less a technician out on the production floor working on the Betalog 128. That seems like a thousand years ago. I am now 50 and am an engineering manager at a large company and more concerned with budgets and schedules than with ohms and volts. But once an engineer, always an engineer! I still love the thrill of designing things and I miss it a lot. |
