| Introduction | I am an energetic, joy-filled, city-turned-country girl living my dream of being a wife, mom, writer (if blogs count) and home school teacher-to-be! My husband is my best friend and we have a passion for managing finances well and helping others do the same. I love kids, kittens, shoes (boots especially), traveling, descriptive writing, Laura Ingalls Wilder, kinesthetic learning, wild adventures and Starbucks Java Chip Frappes! I am already adding books to our children's library and enjoy researching curriculums, learning styles, and things related to teaching. I write about the funny, the serious, the raw and the real of our family, faith and life as a mom while offering tips, resources, devotionals and community to equip, empower and encourage moms considering or beginning home educating (like me)! I have visited 34 countries (or so, I've lost count) in my 22 years and just because I plan to 'stay home' with our kids, it doesn't mean we won't go places!
