| Introduction | The Savannah Cup is the trophy awarded to the team that prevails in an annual golf challenge between Pete Antimarino and Tom Robich of Pittsburgh and Keith Matthews and Jim Pierobon of Northern Virgnia / Wasington DC. These guys first met in the Savannah Club apartments in Houston. This is a Ryder Cup-type format where each golfer plays with a handicap off of the best golfer. There are two points available for each of 18 holes: one for the low individual net score and one for the low team net score. Through the first 17 Cup challenges completed by August 2013, the Pittsburgh crew leads the series 11 to 6. |
