Introduction	On May 29th, 2007, my husband of 20 years, Tom Carter, was diagnosed with Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This was a complete shock to all who know us. Tom was an athelete - riding his bicycle 150+ miles per week, eating healthy foods, a non-smoker, etc. So over the past four years, with the support of family and friends, we've been fighting this evil cancer, which has been in remission for over three years now. I've documented everything since the transplant (May 08). We have an 12-year-old daughter named Katie. She has shown such maturity and compassion during all of this. We love her so much. I am a school librarian for Atlanta Public Schools with lots of time off throughout the year. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers!
