Introduction	I am a textile artist who lives in northern California. I have been a full time artist and longarm quilter since 2001. I also teach workshops in surface design and related topics in my well equipped studio. Living in Humboldt County, behind the Redwood Curtain, provides me with ample fuel for my creativity. I love painting on fabric, sculpting the fabric with my stitching, and coercing every bit of emotion, passion, and magic that I can from a piece of cloth. I can sketch or paint on paper, and it is barely passable. But, give me a piece of cloth and it becomes magically transformed into something wondrous.Even I am surprised at times by what emerges from a plain piece of white cloth.
