IntroductionI got my start as a writer when I was about eight years old and collaborated with my neighbors, the two Margies, on the script for a puppet show called “After Happily Ever After.” It was the story of Cinderella and Prince Charming after the shoe fit, performed in the first Margie’s garage with puppets made with pink Spalding balls as heads and fabric scraps from our mothers’ sewing baskets. I never stopped writing after that summer. I still own the dictionary I won as first prize in a library essay contest when I was twelve years old. My first novel, DANCING ON SUNDAY AFTERNOONS, was published in February 2007, followed by the novella "The Hand That Gives the Rose" in the anthology THE VALENTINE GIFT in February 2008. My newest work of fiction, the novella "A Daughter's Journey," appeared in the anthology A MOTHER'S HEART just in time for Mother's Day. I’ve got many more stories to tell.
