| Introduction | I care for people deeply. I desire growth spiritually and emotionally. Spiritual, as in Jesus. I am a sensitive person, which I tell people is a blessing and a curse. I care for animals and have a special bond with them. I am intuitive and take pleasure in seeing the world through obscured lenses. I desire truth. I am honest and people don't like that sometimes. I tend to include both the bad and the good sides of things and people don't like that either, but some do. I am learning how to deal with the balance of being honest and accepting that people aren't going to like it. If you follow Myers-Brigg's I am an INFP. |
| Interests | I love to travel, experience the richness of a new culture. I admire beauty. I like to explore minds, places, and thoughts. I enjoy great food and community. |
| Favorite movies | Shawshank Redemption, Chocolat, Princess Bride, The Bourne Identity series, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Count of Monte Cristo, Pretty in Pink, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Some of these are not necessarily my favorite, but they're movies I can't get enough of, so does that make it a favorite? Overall favorite is Shawshank Redemption. |
| Favorite music | I don't even want to think of all of that. I enjoy oldies and newbies. I like funky music with an upbeat rhythm or soothing, just depends on my mood. Don't get me wrong, I get deeply moved by music- I love it, but there's so much to choose from. Oh gosh, Ok, in no particular order. Basia Bulet, Phoenix, Fleetwood Mac, Enya, Feist, Gnarls Barkley, Kutless, Need to Breathe, Colbie Caillat, Phil Whickam, David Crowder Band, CCR, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, Switchfoot, Dave Matthews, David Crowder Band, Earth Wind and Fire, and many more... |
| Favorite books | I am not going to lie. I don't read that much. I start books and don't finish them because I have issues, and they don't catch my attention. Here goes: Captivating, The Giving Tree, Dream Catcher, Blue Like Jazz, The Shack, and Baby Catcher (I am not finished yet, but it is a great book about a modern midwife). |
