| Introduction | Hi I'm Chris interested in Maths, Physics, Philosophy Music and the Arts in general. This blog started as a record of my time with the open university I managed to get two degrees from it, Mainly maths physics and Music with a bit of philosophy thrown in. Unfortunately as I didn't complete 3 courses I am now on restricted status and I am not prepared to jump through the hoops in order to get back in. So my Open university days are over. However I do keep in touch via the OU open forums especially the physics ones. I still have a lot of physics and maths to study and I hope eventually to produce detailed calculations reproducing the Peebles calculation and the experimental evidence that led to the development of the standard model of particle physics I am currently going through some of the Cambridge Maths past papers for their science students and I will post my attempts at the solutions here. For some reason which I don't fully understand I have been inspired to write poetry and I will inflict my poems on any one reading this blog here. I'm also keen to defend liberal secularism agaisnt the current religious back lash. |
