| Introduction | My work is about the simplicity we long for, and complexity we find. To create this complexity, I work with acrylics and resin to transform a minimalist painting into an almost three-dimensional, holographic image of multiple, sometimes cellular patterns. Depending on the light of day and your viewpoint colours change and shift. I use resin in a painterly way, that invites the viewer in, wanting to touch the image and be part of it. My art is an emotional conversation with the viewer. |
